  1. Shell infastructure host using 75%+ of memory when using file explorer

I have my pictures and videos stored together and whenever I browse through the videos, after maybe 20 videos or so my PC will become very slow and it will for example fail to play whatever video I clicked on and will start playing the most recent video added to the folder. Then from there it will be incredibly slow for around 15 minutes, taking 1 or 2 minutes to load each video. And sometimes it will go back to normal quick speed another 2 minutes or so, but then will return to being incredibly slow. And when I check task manager performance, the Shell Infrastructure host is using 75-95% of memory I'm using a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of ram, a 500GB SSD which windows is installed on and 1TB HDD, so I feel as though this shouldn't be struggling to play videos from my files. I should state this doesn't happen normally when I'm using file explorer it's usually very fast. It's only when I repeatedly play videos that it slows down immensely, as I said it fails to play the correct video and picks the most recently added one and is incredibly slow from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I tried checking my HDD and SSD for updates but there were none, this has happened on many occasions so turning the PC on and off has no effect.

    :)

  3. Explorer constantly paused by Shell Experience Host

I've installed all of the updates, and they haven't caused any change.

I ran the System Maintenance Troubleshooter as an administrator and it said, "No changes or updates were necessary."

I also followed all of the steps for the System File Checker tool and it didn't find any integrity violations.

I wonder if manually replacing the Shell Experience Host would be worth a try... Anyway, I appreciate the help.
