Windows 10: Shell Launcher shows black screen before application starts

Hi,I challenge myself in order to configure a windows 10 Shell Launcher to execute one single application for specific user. At this moment, I do it with Windows Imaging and configuration for the config and the deployment. However, I detect that, each time my single application user connects to its windows session a back screen is shown during 5 seconds before display the targeting application.I’ve done few tests and one of them is to open the “task manager” with keyboard shortcut and this last one is opened before during this delay. Windows Shell launcher failing to start application after update

Good afternoon all,

I have an application that is launched by the Windows shell launcher (V1), this is been loading for well over a year on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC version 21H2.
Recently machines have been updated to OS Build 19044.3208, since that date our application has failed to be started by the Shell launcher, neither V1 or V2.

I have changed the Shell launcher to start CMD which starts as expected, so Im sure the Shell launcher configuration itself is still ok. I have not been able to track down any log entries in Event viewer to help. The application is signed with an EV code and is passing verification in signtool.exe.

Where else in the system can I look for logs/information as to why the application is not loading?

Custom Shell Launcher V2 Black Screen Error

Hi Friends,

I have been working with Custom Shell Launcher V2. I have my Windows 10 Enterprise OS installed in my system. Then, I have configured the custom shell which will run the application that I have triggered in the Custom Shell. All are working as expected without any errors. Recently, I came up with this issue which was weird. When I switched ON the system the screen was completely black and only the mouse cursor was visible. I thought the application didn't load and tried the following shortcut keys alt + ctrl + del, ctrl + shift + ESC, win + b and none of the keys worked. I don't what's the root cause for this black screen error. Please, help with this problem. Thanks in advance.

 

Windows Shell/Taskbar not started yet + Black Screen

I'm on a black screen.
(Edit: I have discovered Explorer has started, the Shell seems to not. Also, the type of black screen where windows can pop up without any problem. The type that i can open Task manager and type this. Thanks 4 reading. TLDR: Shell not starting, BlackScreen Type that can open taskmgr)
