Windows 10: ShellExperienceHost and related processes StartMenuExperienceHost, backgroundTaskHost,...

Since the last update, these processes have remained suspended. As a result, I can't open the start menu, settings, notifications, or change my sound I know I can change my sound but you get what I mean.After the update when I pressed start, it didn't open. I pressed the sound button on the taskbar repeatedly, and a prompt came out saying:"We’re updating Windows Shell Experience Host. It should be ready to use again shortly."I looked at the process monitor in Task Manager and saw that these processes are suspended. I tried sfc /scannow and dism /restorehealth. sfc saying that there's no prob

It is possible that you're experiencing ShellExperienceHost hanging during boot when Ethernet is disconnected due to corruptions. To assist you better, we'd like to know which build and version of Windows 10 you're using. Are you getting
any error messages when you tried opening/using Cortana? What troubleshooting steps you've done so far?

BackgroundTaskHost is an integral part of the Operating System. Please use the task manager to check any if any third party applications might also be running. These two application are use by Windows Update which installs updates.
