Windows 10: shellhost.exe is running on my nvidia gpu. can it run on mi igpu so i can use my laptop...

it is showing so when i hover on gpu activity icon.

GPU turning off randomly, PC on iGPU running fine.

There has been a development since I posted this, my monitor lost signal today when it was connected to the iGPU and the discrete GPU was disconnected. Is there anything I should do apart from RMAing the motherboard?

How can I switch iGPU to Nvidia GPU when I need use DVR tools to record some videos?

I have a gaming laptop, model is P177-sma.

CPU: i7-4710MQ

RAM: 24GB

Graphic Card: GTX980M 8GDDR5 and Intel HD4600

OS: win10 x64 pro

So here is the situation. I tried to record an very old version game recently. It could only run on iGPU. And I tried to switch the GPU in 3D manager of Nvidia panel, but it is not working. It still run on IGPU. It's OK because frame
goes very high. Untill I need to record video, problem occurs.

It isn't running on Nvidia GPU, so cannot shadowplay. I tried Afterburner, Bandicam. non of them works fine, the video always makes some lag between graphic and audio, they are not sync.

So I considered use DVR. It's wonderful! No lag for video. But DVR encoding process is using the IGPU too. So issue comes to me. Game is lagging like hell when I encountered a combact!
I asked someone else, can I use Nvidia GPU on DVR? They said yes. Because one GPU system like Nvidia GPU definitely could use DVR to record. BUT! I don't know how to switch them! In 3D manager, the option is grey. I cannot
even click it! Does anybody know how to switch it ?
