Windows 10: Shift+Alt change only part of the keyboard

Hi,


For the last 20 years I use two input languages on my Windows10 latptop:
UK English; and
Greek


It is now a couple of weeks that I noticed the following:


When switching from Greek to English, only the letter keys are switched and for the character keys like @ I have to do a seconf Shift+Alt.

This happens only when switching from Greek to English. English to Greek works fine.

Anyone came up on this before?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)
  
• 
  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

How to enable ALT + SHIFT for changing keyboard layout?

Hi

I'm having problems making ALT + SHIFT change my keyboard layout.

According to numerous guides I'm supposed to be able to set the language bar hotkey somewhere in the control panel under Region/Language but that option no longer exists - at least not where it used to be, according to the numerous guides available online.

So where can I change it now?

I know that Winkey + Space will change the language but I want it to be ALT + SHIFT so it's in line with my other PCs not running Windows 10.
