Windows 10: shift + m does not work

Hi. The shift+m keyboard shortcut has stopped working. When trying to find the problem, I found that there is a hotkey for this combination that came from nowhere! Using the github application, I found out that the author of the hotkey is C:\Windows\explorer.exe . Tell me how to remove this keyboard shortcut so that you can write the capital M again. Thank youI reinstalled the drivers on the keyboard, in vain

Shift+m and shift+" not working

So shift+m and shift+" are not working, whenever I try to do it it does absolutely nothing. Every other shift+key works just fine. I tried a different keyboard still doesn't work. Also ran "sfc /scannow" in the elevated cmd along with "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" didn't fix it. Any help would be very appreciated cause this is really annoying.

 

Shift+M does not work

Hi Dave, I've tried both suggestions and neither have worked. For the second suggestion, it showed multiple keyboards listed all of which were named "HID Keyboard device". I am also running windows 11.

 

Unable to make capital "n" using the left "shift" and the capital "m" with the right "shift"!

Yesterday I removed and put back after 5 minutes the battery of my ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 N580GD with win10 64bit.

After that, everything seems to work normally except I can't make the capital "n" using the left "shift" and the capital "m" with the right "shift"!

But both work with the other "shift": the "n" with the right one and the "m" with the left one. Lowercase "n" and "m" work normally. All the other letters I can do them capital with both the left and right "shift".

But what is even more absurd is that I can do both the "n" and the "m" capital with the non-working "shift" by following these steps: I keep pressed "shift" then I keep pressed the "n" (or the "m"), when I release "shift" the letter in capital magically appears

Anyone have any idea what that might be and how to fix it?
