  1. Shift + Space - browser behavior. Driving me insane.

Usually when writing, I can keep my finger on the shift key and type, with all instances of me pressing the spacebar translating to a space on the screen.

Now, in Chrome and Edge (also the facebook messenger app), if I hold down shift and push the space bar, there is no space. Nothing happens.

In Chrome I've even installed shortkeys to disable any potential shift and space shortcuts that are on by default.

I have tried numerous keyboards, so it's a software issue rather than hardware.

Using Edge, the space and shift only occurs 75% of the time. I have no idea why.

This doesn't occur on firefox, but I simply don't like using it as a browser.

Does anyone have any clue why this happens and how I can fix this? It's been steadily driving me insane for months. Thanks!
