Shift windows 10 Boot Manager to another disk

I was having 120GB SSD as boot disk and 1 Tb disk as data disk. I was having win 7 installed ,.By booting from windows 10 (20H2) 64 bit edition I deleted system and OS partition. I have installed windows 10 (clean) in SSD OS partition (SSD was already having 2 partitions , second one is intact) My windows is perfectly installed and is up and running. However Boot manager is installed on 1 TB disk (100Gb partition) Now I want to replace 1TB disk , but if I do so then windows does not boot ) When I tried to create Image of OS for later restorarion it includes another disk as well. How can I reallocate boot manager in SSD so both OS and boot manager will be on SSD itself and will be easy to manage.

    :)

  2. Disk management console view is not up-to-date

i dont know how to fix your disk management, but i can fix your partition problems...

open up Command Prompt with admin rights. (Right click, run as admin)

    enter in
    DISKPART
    list disk

then find the Disk number for your Raid array... lets call it number 7 ( you can tell what disk is what by the total size)
    type in

    Select Disk 7
List Partition (will give you a list of all the partitions..)
Select Partition 1 (im assuming you only have 1 partition on Disk 7) repeat this step if you have more partitions.
    ASSIGN

that should get the array up and running ready to use.

    EDITED.

    any problems, post back ^^

No Windows Boot Manager on dual boot system (7 & 10)

I thought I'd just post a little guide.

This is the only thing that worked on my ASUS N55SF dual boot system: Win7 on HDD (MBR) and Win10 on SSD (GPT).

    Step 1
Assuming that you have already Win7 installed on your primary disk, install Win10 on your secondary disk.

    Step 2
When install is done, enter your BIOS and go to the Boot section. There you should see "Windows Boot Manager" as your default boot option. Change it so that your primary disk (where you have Win7 installed) becomes your default boot option (it should be something like "P0:" followed by your disk model number, mine is "P0: ST9750423AS"). Save and restart.

    Step 3
Now Win7 should start automatically (no boot manager showing up). Enter Win7, open an elevated command prompt and run
    bcdboot X:\windows
    where X is the Win10 system partition as seen from Win7, typically E, F, G or H.

    Step 4
Restart. You should now see the Windows Boot Manager (probably the Windows 10 GUI boot manager). Select Windows 10, install your audio drivers (if you already have, I suggest you uninstall them and restart before doing this), restart and you're done.

    Boot Emergency!

No it doesnt show. Only my OS drive.

Its there and it says it running and normal.

Anyway I just had the same boot problem on reboot. Everything was fine 10 minutes ago. Now it wont boot without my manually selecting the drive.
