Windows 10: short freeze after typing letter O in any game or on desktop.

Hi,


Whenever I did not type anything for a while and then type the letter O (not zero) my picture freezes for a second. After that everything works fine again. I was able to reproduce that problem 5 out of 5 times now in a time span of 120-60 mins.


Any idea what causes this problem?

Programs Freeze only when typing certain letters

So recently, my computer has run into an issue that I have never encountered before. Whenever I type the letter 'o', but capitalized, whatever program I am currently on shuts down freezes and shuts down. It doesn't matter whether it's a game or here on Google
Chrome, it simply freezes the program, rendering it unresponsive, and then shutting it down. Drivers are up to date, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary other than that.

 

Freezes Completely After Typing Certain Letters

I am typing this from my Dell Laptop (provided by my school) because I came across a problem with my "to not do school work with" ACER laptop. So this story I guess should start when I went on holidays for 4 and a half weeks and had to leave my Laptops
at home; both worked fine pre-holiday but after returning home I turned on my Acer laptop and began to log in,
*cue problem arising* a problem arose.

So I am on my windows 10 log in screen, I type in my numbers, lowercase and UPPERcase letters, slap the enter button and look up at the screen to see the git had froze halfway through my password. I thought that if I wait it out it would unfreeze, so waited
for a few minutes, hours, days, had months passed yet? I dunno. I waited for what felt like too long to wait for the rest of a password to load in but my laptop just wouldn't unfreeze.

Legitimately 30-40 minutes after the freezing had occurred I hit the power button and restarted my computer, and did my login process over again being sure to watch the screen as I progressed, and it turns out that pressing a letter on the left of my keyboard
was causing it to freeze.

(And by "a letter on the left of my keyboard" I mean most of the letters on the left of the keyboard because I gave up looking due to the stupidly long period I spent having to reset every time I found one and the fact that some of the letters that knew
triggered the freezening would randomly choose that they would not freeze my laptop)

These letters would freeze my computer no matter where I was when I typed them - Login screen, the desktop and that picture + clock screen that covers the login included, proving to myself that I do not need to be in a place that I am required to type for
a letters to freeze my laptop, or even typing as it turned out, when I started typing this call for help all the way at paragraph 1 I restarted my Laptop and let it sit, then after a few minutes I look up, it froze, by its god damned, self.

I'm convinced that this is a hardware problem, but I am not educated enough with computers to no for sure if its actually some sort of irritating virus or uncanny occurrence that requires me to buy a new laptop. So please if anyone knows what IS wrong with
my poor, broken Acer, come forth with wisdom! and also tell me why when I press the letter O on my dell it sometimes types o three times in a row. But preferably I'd like a solution to my Acer problem first.

Keyboard stopped typing letters

Hi -

I currently have windows 10 and was typing and entering items for work when something happened and it now won't type letters. For example I was in quickbooks and entering names and if I typed the letter "M" it would kick me out of qb and take me back to
the icon page. If I type in other letters it would take me somewhere or open up a window. I think it is called "short-cut" but I need to be able to type again. Any suggestions on what happened an how to fit the issue? Thanks
