Windows 10: Shortcut Hybrid Sleep for desktop Not Sleep

I need to make a short cut for Hybrid Sleep on my desktop. The sleep mode works on my windows 7 if I manually move the mouse to the windows icon and click the arrow button and select sleep works perfect. But I would like to make a short cut key on the desktop.If I choose to make a bat file with rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0 this goes to DEEP power off sleep and shuts down the PC and if you tap the keyboard it will wake up but it goes through the start up process of the computer and then says resuming and it is basically restarting. So what I need I guess is Hybrid sleep Hy

My wife recently 'took advantage' of Microsoft's offer of free Windows 10 and upgraded her Windows 7 desktop machine. She did an in place upgrade rather than a wipe and install. Although it took the expected bit of time all went well, but we notice that
the option to invoke hybrid sleep which was present previously is now missing. What is interesting to us is that our new laptop which came with Windows 10 pre-installed has it. We have search the Internet for an answer, but have come up with essentially nothing
except definitions of what sleep, hibernation, and hybrid sleep are and how to invoke them. which we already know how to do.

What we really would like to know is why hybrid sleep is found in the laptop and not the desktop. Aren't all flavors of Windows 10 essentially the same?

I suggest you go to the Asus support site and get another copy of the display driver then install it.
While you're there, check for any Bios updates.

You can turn on hybrid sleep in Power options, <current power plan>, Change advanced settings.
Hybrid sleep - The Old New Thing
- There is no display of its name. It is either on or it is off. If it is on then telling your computer to sleep makes it go into hybrid sleep.
- I don't suggest altering as important a setting as this until you have resolved your current issue.
