Windows 10: Shortcut keys for changing desktop no longer working

Hi,I use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + Windows key + arrow left or right to move to another desktop on Windows 11 with all available updates installed.Since yesterday it stopped working; I can only change desktop by using the mouse. Tried a different keyboard wired: still not working.Any ideas? I must add that I also updated the BIOS of my Dell Precision 5820 two days ago. Could this be the cause?Thanks in advance for any help.

Providing it is still installed go to the Program you wish to make a Shortcut to.

It should still be listed in your Local Disk > Program Files.

Right Click on the Programs .exe file.

Hover the mouse over Send to.

Select : Desktop ( Create Shortcut ).

Message has been changed or moved so this shortcut will no longer work properly.

do you want delete this shortcut.

 

Windows 10 shortcut key not working - Please help

I'm trying to create a shortcut key for a program/script that turns off my monitor. I've confirmed that the small program is working by double clicking on it. The problem I'm having is that when I go to create a shortcut key for it. First I create a shortcut to the program, then I set a shortcut key, say "ctrl-shift-s". After applying the changes, clicking Ok, I try to use the shortcut by pressing the ctrl-shift-s key combination. When I do this, nothing happens. I've confirmed that shortcut keys works with other apps like the Command Prompt. Does anyone have any insight to this?

Message has been changed or moved so this shortcut will no longer work properly.

do you want delete this shortcut.

The message that the Shortcut was related to you deleted ( sent to the recycle bin ).

You then went to the recycle bin and right clicked the message and selected restore if i am not mistaken and when you tried to open it, ...... it presented you with the message "this shortcut will no longer work".

Do you know what created the message / what the message extension was / and if it was something to do with E-Mail or other ?

It may be possible that it requires a link to a Portal / Cloud / On-line so to that point it could possibly no longer work.

( If you still have the message which you tried to restore back to your Desktop right click on it and select Properties ).

What does its General properties state ?

This Message which you may have edited may still be on your computer in another location.
