    Dear Community,Thanks for reading the question I have. In order to save a lot of time, I would like to make a shortcut to a full anti-virus scan in Windows 10. I have tried the following link,instructions to short cut and can get through steps 1 through 5. But when it asks me to use Change Icon, I get an error message saying 'Windows can't find the file %ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe'. Can anybody help here, please? I have a Lenovo Ideapad3 laptop, running Windows 10, status 22H2. YoursMarek

    How to scan anti-virus with windows Defender?

    For windows 10, I would like to know on how to scan anti-virus with windows Defender, when I select a file and right click, there is no anti-virus for scanning for windows defender and how to make windows defender update automatically?

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi YogeshKhetrapal,

    Just to verify, can you tell us when exactly did you get this virus and can you determine or recall where did you get this from? As a first troubleshooting step, we suggest that you try to schedule a scan using Windows Defender and see how it goes. Please
    refer to this link for steps on how to do so. Take note that you should disable any third
    party anti virus software first before running a Windows Defender scan.

    If that doesn't help, I would also like to suggest downloading and running the Malicious Software Removal Tool to prevent malwares
    here.
