Windows 10: Shortcuts not working on number pad

Hello Microsoft Community,I have started using Windows shortcuts to be faster on my computer and rely less on using my mouse. Many of the shortcuts use a combination of Ctrl + a number, such as Ctrl + 1. For ease of use I am attempting to use the number pad on my Logitech Wave K350 keyboard instead of the numbers above the letters on a typical keyboard. This doesn’t always work and I am trying to figure out why. For instance, in the outlook app Ctrl + 1 works but it doesn’t’ in One Note. It’s much easier to use the number key pad than the numbers above the letters. I appreciate any feedb

My Microsoft Number Pad Isn't Working

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

This could be a problem with pairing with Windows. Here is some troubleshooting that you can try and should fix this problem.

Step 1: Remove the device from Windows

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Devices then click on Bluetooth & other devices

3-Check that the Microsoft Number Pad is shown on the list, click on that and select Remove device and confirm

Step 2:Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Update & Security

3-Click on Troubleshoot then click on Additional troubleshooter

4-Search for the Bluetooth troubleshooter and click on that then click on Start

5-Then follow the instructions

Step 3: Connect your keyboard

1-Press and hold the pair button on the bottom of the number pad for 5 seconds or until the LED light starts to flash and enter pairing mode

2-On your Windows 10 PC, select Connect if a notification appears for your number pad, then wait for it to get set up

4-If you don't see the notification. Select Start, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other devices > Bluetooth > Microsoft Number Pad > Done

 

Use number pad of mac keyboard on Windows 10

I have a Windows 10 desktop and I use a mac keyboard with number pad on it. Its model number is A1243 and its connected by USB. However I cant seem to get the right driver or configuration to get the number pad to actually work. Any suggestions?
