Windows 10: Should I continue with Webroot Security or Win Defender?

I have Win 10. It comes with Win Defender Security which I'm not using. But I'm paying Webroot Security $49 a year to protect the desktop computer.Should I let the Webroot elapse and go with Win Defender?

Webroot v Defender

As a condition of a discount deal with Best Buy I received Webroot. Now BB continually bugs me to download the software. I currently use MS Defender. Is Webroot better than Defender? If I do download Webroot but do want to use it how do I delete it before it replaces Defender?

 

Notifications that my Defender and antispyware is off. My Webroot is running.

Windows Defender should (to prevent software conflicts and other potential issues) be disabled by the presence of Webroot on the computer.

Webroot Secure Anywhere

I am trying to uninstall the Webroot Secure Anywhere from my Windows 10 computer. I already have McAfee security and the Webroot interferes with this. How can uninstall this. I've tried the normal uninstall in the Control Panel but it does not let me.
I am not very experienced at this so I would need step by step instructions. I would be very grateful if someone could help.
