    Should I delete Avast?


    I have Avast Antivirus on my PC. Lately, when I got a VR system, Avast has been annoying me. Every time I try to install Rec Room for my VR, Avast blocks and deletes it. I figure a free antivirus software can’t give much protection in the first place, so I considered deleting it. Is that a good idea?

    DELETE AVAST !!!

    Hi,

    Please flows the steps to uninstalled Avast

    Download avastclear.exe (
    https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avastclear.exe     )on your desktop

    Start Windows in Safe Mode

    Open (execute) the uninstall utility

    If you installed Avast in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)

    Click REMOVE

    Restart your computer
