    It doesn't clearly advise if deleting is safe. In actuality, the last sentence suggests that deletion ISN'T safe — because if deleting is safe, why would you need make "a backup of the file on external storage"???

    Hi Dylan,

    Yes that is perfectly safe to run, it will cleanup thing like temporary files form Window updates and previous versions of your OS . . .

    Disc Cleanup will only ever suggest things that are safe to delete, you have nothing to worry about . . .
