Windows 10: Show only the current monitor's windows in Alt+Tab

I have my laptop plugged in to my external monitor and I pin a window on my laptop just to glance at my calendar. As a result, I do not want it to show up when I Alt+Tab. Instead, I only want the windows on my external monitor to show up when I Alt+Tab. At the moment, windows from both my external monitor as well as my laptop show up when I Alt+Tab. Is there any workaround for this? I am not talking about Pressing Alt+Tab shows windows that are open on Only the desktop I am using in Settings > Multitasking Settings > Virtual Desktops.

Taskbar not showing while alt-tabbed with multiple monitors

I'm running two monitors, monitor A is my main monitor, and monitor B is my secondary i use for videos and everything while gaming. When I have a game on monitor A and I alt+tab out to a window on my second monitor, the taskbar doesn't show up. It's the
same when i click off my game on monitor A to monitor B. In windows 7 whenever I did this the taskbar would show up, but now unless i specifically alt+tab to a window on monitor A taskbar will not show up. Doesn't anyone know a registry or way to make it so
i don't have to keep going to windows on monitor A to make the taskbar show up.

 

Is alt+tabbing bad for your monitor or TV?

Well your monitor will only go on and off from Alt+ TAB if you are switching from an odd resolution to the desktop resolution.
Also you could just windowed borderless.

I've been trying this for a while, but I can't seem to get Alt-tab to show the windows on the current desktop. I've tried the tutorial here: ALT+TAB - Show Windows Open on Desktops in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums.

Initially it was set to show only on the desktop I'm using, but that wasn't working, so I changed it to all desktop, restarted, still the same alt tab behaviour. I then changed it to only on the desktop i'm using, restarted and it still hasn't changed.

I've even tried running the bat files and restarting after running the bat files but still nothing.

Anyone else experienced this problem? Or have any ideas to solve it?
