• When did the issue start?
• Can you tell us if there were any changes made on your computer prior to this concern (i.e., updates, software installation)?
• Are you using a built-in or an external camera?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Here's mine of the new build 9926 Start Menu.

 

Do you know how we can make the menu smaller? As you can see in my photo, I would like to move it inward from right to left. Do you know how we do that?

Not sure if its possible Chuck38 what I noticed with mine is I could create a column of max 6 small icons wide for the compact start menu and if I used less I had the same empty space to the right as you. The # and size of icons per column may differ with various resolutions & DPI.

Also if using the extended start menu I can create 2 columns of max 6 icons, one on the left side and one on the right side with a space between them. If I were to shrink my extended start menu than the column on the right gets moved below the left side column.

I'm looking at yours and 'IownAmoneyPit's shots side by side, and I think resolution and DPI scaling may have a little bit to do with the proportions.

 

I'm a 1920x1080 and 120% DPI and I get 8 small tiles wide.

 

Mine is 1680x1050 100% DPI.

 

I'm gonna mess with my res and stuff...
