Windows 10: "Show windows side by side"

"Show windows side by side" is still not working !!

I have check this forum for answers but what I see here is this issue coming up again and again without any solutions or REPAIR. It is now 2020, after hundreds of WINODWS 10 updates, fixes and repairs.


Side by Side is an option offered in CONTRAST to "Stacked".

For eons previously it was described as:

"... view Horizontally", or

"... view Vertically"

These developers here knew what the difference and how to implement it.

In the NEW WINDOWS 10 or whatever it is, - the English has been dumbed-down to say "STACKED" or "SIDE BY SIDE", has lost the meaning, and has erased the "vertical" COMPLETELY - it never works, it doesn't do it at all, it is non-existent, it hasdisappeared ! What is going on ? Why bother offering 2 things when the performance is really only 1 thing ?

Side by Side = vertical.

Side by Side is NOT MANUAL.

Side by Side does NOT mean STACKED.

"STACKED" - one above of the other, check the dictionary, accurately "clearly" referred to preciously as "HORIZONTALLY"."SIDE BY SIDE" - one beside the other, on the left or right "SIDE", accurately "clearly" referred to preciously as "VERTICALLY".

Please do not tell me it needs to be donemanually ! It is very tiring to hear this many times to all the other inquiries, "you have to do this manually" ???!!!!

Has anyone found out how to make WINDOWS 10 behave properly ? Has anyone worked with the developers and gotten anywhere to see this repaired in WINDOWS 10 ??

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile
