Hi ! One day is a good start, but like Cliff says it won't last long. I managed to go a whole month one time. Some little thing will usually mess up my 10. Some techs think Reliability Monitor is worthless. I personally think it can be a big help and alert you to a small problem before it becomes a major problem. It can help on BSOD problems. If you learn and watch the monitor daily, you learn the things to ignore and the ones that are serious. It's fun to try and fix the little things also. Just don't let it drive you crazy.
I fixed the Java updater failure by disabling it on start up. Easy fix. Java will notify you in the tray when to up date. It is good to keep Java and Adobe up dated however!
Some one needs to start a fun thread about things they found in the Reliability Monitor and how they fixed them. LOL

  3. To me, it's the KB windows updates that made my reliability history good. One app culprit that I removed is the Mail app. It always crashes after sleep so I replaced it with TouchMail app which works perfectly. Now, I don't get any errors aside from failed updates.

What I like about the monitor is that it shows every thing that's going on with your PC even though it doesn't have a cure, it can some times lead you to a fix. Here's a good link about using the reliability Monitor!
What kind of failed up date errors do you get??

  6. Not much to see, runs a bit slow, but steady, can not really complain, I keep 10 mean and lean.

  7. I don't know how you can maintain that reliability, but the audio manager host on mine crashed after a week of not shutting down:

One thing that the Reliability Monitor does differently in Windows 10 is continue to rise on days where the PC is not even turned on. In Win 7 it would flat line at the point where it was shut off and pick that line up again once started. I went away for 4 days recently and the graph showed each of those days as reliability improving. This is with the PC shutdown and unplugged, not just in sleep or hibernation. So, don't turn your PC on for 2 weeks or so and it will say it is 100% reliable.... And then some app will go and blow it all the next day again.

  11. Interesting, have not noticed that, but as far I remember, not a single app crashed lately, so it still applies.
I have found out, that when I run CCleaner, it deletes everything, so just ignore my screen shot. *Rolleyes *Redface

Surely not the most stable build on this old Acer. The empty days was where I took road trips. Trouble yesterday started when I couldn't open Communications (Mail/Calendar) app after an update of it and others. All others worked fine and so does it this morning after reinstalling it yesterday. Went to boot up this morning only to find I had to hard reset after it didn't fully boot. Then Edge acted up. Did a reboot. After half hour a BSOD > Critical Structure Corruption. A fresh reinstall may be in order, but I get a feeling we'll get a new build soon. Here's yesterday and so far today.

Edge last night when I tried to watch the live event(had to switch to Chrome because Edge's buffering made it unwatchable, I have fiber optic):

I saw your comment about that in the event thread. I had no problems watching it in IE11 on my 8.1 partition. Took no chances for 10547 crashing for that event! You surely are more daring than I. *Wink
