    How do I get thumbnails of .pes designs to show? I have embroidery software that allows this, it's set as my default program when opening the files, but I don't get thumbnails when searching/looking at my catalog of designs. This would be very helpful and allow me to narrow my design search much more quickly without having to open each design in software in order to be able to see it.

    View .pes files as a thumbnail in windows 10 64 bit

    Hi Ray

    Pes files are embroidery files and it is usually the embroidery software you are using that adds the thumbnails to Windows, because Windows does not support or can view Pes files . . .

    So make sure that software is installed and it is only the software developers of that software that will know if their software will add that functionality to Windows . . .

    PES embroidery file, cannor open.

    After downloading pes embroidery pattern, cannot open file for editing & transferring a usb.

    download .PES machine embroidery

    Hi Gwynne,

    You will find those Pes files in your Downloads folder - it is just Windows is mixed up and thinks they are media files . ..

    Open Windows File Explorer

    On the left click the Downloads folder

    On the right you will find those Pes files, you can then copy them out of that folder and use hem on your Embroidery software or Embroidery machine . . .
