    I think the servers for 10240 activation have been shutdown by MS. You might try upgrading to 10162/66 and activating, then taking 10240 through Windows Update - that's the only way MS want you to take it, because they are testing the delivery method now. And be sure to be logged in with your MSA.

    At this point I'm a prolly wait till 29th
    looking too dodgy , if i got the 10166
    would i really get the latest via update
    as , they've shut down those activation servers

    i missed the boat
    hey hey on the main computer
    I'm sitting here with win 10 enterprise genuine activation
    which ain't bad at all *Smile

    Are you aware Enterprise is excluded from the free upgrade? If you are running the Enterprise Preview it will eventually time out and activation will fail.

    What version of Windows 7 or 8.1 are you upgrading from? That will determine what version of 10 you get.

    This utility has proven useful. Nirsoft's Produkey was infected with a PUP according to MBM so thanks for this.

    Great tool Craig, I used it on my desktop and saved it to OneDrive so as to have access from my other PC when I finally clean install, if something goes left, and I need them. I definitely need to do it on my Laptop that was Win7 before too.

    Can you export this reg. key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Registration - and PM it to me please. I think that key may be the problem.
