    Shredder64.msi


    I’m in Windows 10 and am stuck. Windows Installer is hanging everything up and I can’t find a current answer. The message window says: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the instalation package ‘Shredder64.msi’ in the box below. Then it shows Use source: C:\Users\Administrator\App Data\Local\Download 1\(ED674FF5-94C1-C39-842A-E10EDD655206)\ and I’m supposed to Browse? I did a search on my computer for the file but it’s not there.


    Previously I did restore my computer to a date that worked, but now I see my only options are recent dates and I had the issue during that time, but was using programs that weren’t affected.


    Also..since the last restore it seems as though something deleted my Excell program, so when I go to open it, it really wants to install it...but can’t because of the Windows Installer error. Everything hinges on fixing that.



    Please help as my husband is about to throw this out the window and get me a Mac.

    I have exactely the same issue when I run Regsvr32 wuaueng.dll !!! My original problem is the same: after a windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7, shredder64.msi is not found

    Any help?

    After copying my programs and data files from my old PC to my new PC I am now getting a popup error message that the installation package

    'Shredder64.msi' is missing. When I click on cancel I get an error popup #1706. How can I download a new Shredder application package?
