Windows 10: Shut Down And Hibernate Not Working

I wonder when the new update is coming because you guys definitely ruined my laptop. Why is my laptop unable to shut down or even hibernate. Every time I press shut down,it goes back to login screen. Like why? And yes,I now switched off fast startup because i read some 2015 article which had the same problem as me, it worked for a short while. But now every time I wanna switch off my laptop,I have to now instead do an emergency shut down. Srsly. When is the new update because if the new update also doesn't fix this I'm gonna straight up be mad

We suggest to manually setup hibernation on your computer. You may follow the steps below:

• Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize.
• Click Lock screen>Screen saver settings>Change power settings>Choose what the power buttons do.
  
  
• Change the settings When I press the power button, click
  hibernate.
• Click Save changes.

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Check for the device drivers status in Device Manager.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Check if any of the drivers have warning message(Yellow triangle with exclamatory mark).

Step 2: Start the computer in Safe mode, try to shutdown and check if the sleep mode/ hibernate is working fine.

Hibernate does not work, just locks the computer instead of it shutting down
