  1. Shut Down Bug

Yesterday I tried to turn off windows but it didn't work. I don't know how to explain exactly what happened. It's like it started turning off but stopped for some reason. My desktop was still on but I couldn't open some apps or windows explorer. The task manager was working but it didn't show the apps that were still runing, like Chrome. Pressing shut down, sleep, or restart also didn't work after that, so I had to force a shut down by holding the power button on the computer. Anyone know what happened? My windows is up to date by the way. I did a clean install a few days ago.

    • How exactly are you shutting down the computer? Is it from Start menu?
    • Did you try shutting down by pressing and holding the power button?
    • Did you make any recent changes to the computer settings?
    • Did you plug any external device to the computer?
