    Shut down & fan speed


    Hi there, I have an HP zBook 14G2 running W10, 64 and recently I am not able to shut down completely. When I try fan start at max speed and there is no way to stop. I did remove also battery and re-installed but no way to get rid of this issue. I have also tried the powercfg but nothing. Beside this it works perfectly. Now I am forced to leave it always on. Thanks for any helps.

    Asus Laptop Fan Keeps Running When Shut Down

    I don't when it started, but the cooling fan runs at high speed every time I am running on battery and shut down. The battery eventually is drained, and then the fan stops. It does NOT happen when plugged in and shut down. I have tried every suggestion that I can fins online, and nothing works. The only workaround is to put the laptop in Sleep Mode instead of Hibernate. Anybody else have this problem? I am running Windows 10.

    Fan Speeds

    Hello: The latest Win 10 security update killed my ASUS "suite" of fan speed adjustments and other things, fan speed being the important one for me. Uninstalled the update (KB4056891) till I can figure out the fan speeds. If they run on high it make too
    much noise and that much air is not needed most of the time for my PC ASUS Z87 Delux motherboard and i7 4770k CPU. As far as I can ascertain ASUS doesn't support this in Win 10 for this board. Thanks, Duke Masters

    PS: Is this the kind of thing MS might issue a fix for?
