Windows 10: Shut down mode immediately when starting up

Discus and support Shut down mode immediately when starting up in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I believe I gave wrong rule instructions in my Windows 11 settings because now when I start my computer, after putting my password in, it immediately...     Shut down mode immediately when starting up


    I believe I gave wrong rule instructions in my Windows 11 settings because now when I start my computer, after putting my password in, it immediately tells me its shutting down and does exactly that. I cannot get into my computer now to change/reverse/reset what I've done.

    PC shuts-down immediately when disconnected from power

    It is extremely unlikely that this has anything to do with the update. You can easily find out like so:

    • Boot into the BIOS setup mode. This mode is completely independent of Windows and is not affected by updates.
    • Pull the plug. You will find that the machine shuts down immediately.
    You probably need to replace the battery.

    MSN News starts and then crashes immediately

    I went back in your suggestions and tried this again. Still MSN News starts and fails immediately.

    Computer in sleep mode shuts down open programs

    When your computer is in hibernate mode, does all your programs have been shut off or closed? May we know what's the specific program that you use? Let's try to reset Power schemes. Please follow the steps below:

    • Right on Start button, > select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Copy and paste the command below:
    powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

    • When finished, close the command prompt then reboot your PC.
