Windows 10: shutdown option is not coming in my system

Discus and support shutdown option is not coming in my system in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; there is error coming while i am trying to shutown my system when i am pressing ALT+F4 this error comes and in startup also its showing no power option...     shutdown option is not coming in my system


    there is error coming while i am trying to shutown my system when i am pressing ALT+F4 this error comes and in startup also its showing no power option is available please help me with this issue

    windows 10 Shutdown starts shutdown process screen blanks as if Then desktop comes back

    Have a HP elite desktop PC running windows 10

    when sPower /Shutdown selected system behaves as per a normal shutdown but within 10-15 seconds the desktop comes back and is still running.

    The power / restart behaves as per normal

    tried the bcdedit option as suggested elsewhere no change

    tried the msconfig stop all items suggestion and still no change.

    currently user just powers of as wall switch is nearest option

    am about to revert to windows 7 as some apps will not run.

    any other suggestions before I revert

    We suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issues with the shutdown function of your laptop:

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar beside the Windows icon.
    • Select Troubleshooting from the results.
    • Under System and Security, select Fix Problems with Windows Update.
    • Choose Troubleshoot as an Administrator.

    shutdown option is not coming in my system

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
