Windows 10: Shutting down PC, but forgetting to eject VHD's first.. bad??

Discus and support Shutting down PC, but forgetting to eject VHD's first.. bad?? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Desktop Windows 10 x64 Pro - using VHD/VHDXMounting is fine.But I wonder: when I shut down the PC, without first ejecting the drives...Is that bad?     Desktop Windows 10 x64 Pro - using VHD/VHDXMounting is fine.But I wonder: when I shut down the PC, without first ejecting the drives...Is that bad? Or does it not matter and will Windows take care of ejecting?Could be because one forgot to eject the drives first, or because of a power-outage, or because a program requiring a restart after install and one clicks [OK] too soon, or because a 'freezing' system, or ... etc.Thanks!

    does anyone know of an easy way to convert a VHD made using an old backup into a virtual PC

    What does it mean? *Confused Shutting down PC, but forgetting to eject VHD's first.. bad?? :confused: VHD is a hard drive of a virtual machine which (by default) can be opened by Microsoft Virtual PC

    To eject your CD, I suggest you to shut down your PC, then power on it and press the button to eject your DVD.
