Windows 10: Side by side error that is not allowing me to install,open,uninstall many apps.

Hello,

I started facing this issue after my system restore was not successful, this error is not allowing me to install, uninstall or start many applications.

I tried to match the key in Regedit as I saw online, I also tried to install visual studio redistributable but it is not allowing me to install.

I also tried to entering sfc/scannow command in CMD.

Nothing is working. Can anyone help me fixing this.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

App won't open

The error code 0x803F8001 is an error that is directly related to Windows Store. We suggest that you uninstall and then re-install the affected application and follow these steps below:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Powershell.
• Right click and run it as an administrator.
  
• Type "Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.MSPaint | Remove-AppxPackage" and enter
• Go to Store App and re-install Paint 3D App

Once you're done, update us with the result.

 

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused
