Windows 10: Side by side simultaneous views in snap windows - only one window fully open.

In Windows 10 I could easily have two windows open at the same time on my screen. In Windows 11, whether I use the drag and open method, or the snap windows tile function, only one Window is fully functional, the other window is shaded. I have to switch to the window I want to use in order to see the contents clearly and I cannot see the contents of both in two side by side screens. The tile icon in snap windows only allows me to choose one primary window to work in. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.

• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
