Windows 10: Sideways start screen scrolling?

    [Problem Solved] Scroll sideways in Edge pdf viewer

    This should be basic functionality, but unfortunately, I'm stumped for a simple way to scroll sideways while viewing zoomed in on a PDF doc in Edge. Perhaps Edge should not be the default PDF viewer Microsoft, if this basic feature is missing?

    I suggest pressing the Alt key display a scrolling hand like Adobe Acrobat that most people are already used to. Then, while holding the Alt key, use the mouse to drag the document around the screen.

    If there is such a way, I haven't found it. FYI, no horizontal scrollbar appears while viewing PDFs.

    First, get a mouse that supports sideways scrolling.

    With such a mouse, pushing right and left on the scroll wheel moves the mouse pointer right and left.
