Windows 10: siemens starter software freezes during install on windows 10 pro laptop

Hi

Siemens support tell me the whole reason is due to problem with Microsoft. It seems problems only occurred since Nov 2019. During install, the software simply freezes during the starter install....starter version is 5.3.0.3.


Microsoft asia support have no idea how to answer and basically do not rply to my request for help/assistance.

Could this problem be linked to the database access 2010??

I suggest you to follow the methods below:

Method 1: Install all updates.

Install all/pending updates that is required for Windows 10 from Windows Update by following the steps below:

• Type ‘Windows Update’ in search bar and press Enter.
• On Windows Update dialog box click on ‘Check for Updates’ and install all the necessary updates.

Method 2: Un-install and re-install the Software for “One click starter”

• Press ‘Windows key + R’ and type ‘appwiz.cpl’ (without quotes) and press Enter.
• In the list select the program for “One click Starter” and click on Uninstall.
• Download the latest software for the program and install it.

Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.
