Windows 10: Sigh...age-old Microsoft Account Problem

For the past month or so, both of my W10 laptops (ver. 1909) keep getting a daily notification akin to:

Microsoft account problem. We need to fix your Microsoft account (most likely your password changed). Select here to fix it in Shared Experiences settings."

It is suggested in forums to turn off a couple of choices in shared experiences. I have, to no effect. As it is, I just ignore the message. BTW, my computers are set to boot right up, no pw, no pin, which is how I want it.

I have been blissfully ignoring this nag pop-up. Any new ideas on how to get rid of it? (I do use One Drive if that matters--with access on both computers and a W7 computer which is barely used).

Age Not correct on Microsoft Store?

Hi John,

One of the possible reasons why you're getting the age limit error message is due to account discrepancies. We recommend that you check you Microsoft account profile and verify your age. Follow the steps below:

• Go to
  account.microsoft.com > Sign in using your login credentials.
• Click Your info > Select Edit your personal info.
• Check your Birthdate and edit it if there's a need to.
• Hit Save > Check if the issue still occurs.

Note: Make sure that the account used in Windows Store is your Microsoft account.

Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

Hello Ken,

Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

I also run all related troubleshooters:

• Windows Update
• Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
• Microsoft Accounts

No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.

Thank you for your reply, appreciate the time taken by you in keeping us updated on the status of the issue.

Since the issue is still facing, you may try the below steps and check.

Step 1: Change your old account type from Microsoft account to Local account and then delete this old account by logging into some administrator account.

To switch to a Local Account follow these steps:

• Login to your old account.
• Press “Windows key +X”.
• Go to Settings
• Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
• You will get an option “Switch to a Local account” right below your user account name.
• Select “Switch to a local account” option.
• Enter the required details.

Step 2: Login to some other account which has administrator privilege and delete the old account.

• Click on Start and select
  Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now select Family & other users.
• Here you find your old account, just select and click on
  Remove.
