Windows 10: Sign in option preventing me from logging in

I recently just bought a new computer and all seemed well the night i bought it, this morning when i had tried to sign on i had gotten a “sign in” button instead of my password which i had also set the night before. Whenever i click this sign in button it takes me back to the slider when you first turn on the computer. Why is this happening? How can i sign in?

Windows Hello preventing options on requiring sign-in

I got a new Lenovo laptop computer and it was working great but the last month or so it requires me to login every time I step away...I used to have it set for a longer time iirc because it's in a home setting, but when I go to Sign-in options now it tells me:

"Windows Hello is preventing some options from being shown." (screen capture attached)

(and it's stuck on "Every Time").

Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Using Sign in options in Windows 10

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Please note that Windows will ask you for the sign in option using which you logged in last time. So please change the sign in options and it should work fine. Here are steps to change the sign in options:

1. While sign-in/logging-in to your computer, click on Sign-in Options.
   

2. Then click on Pin or Password and enter the same.

3. Now sign-off and you should be able to see the option that you used last time to sign-in.

You can also consider removing and add Pin again to make sure it is set up properly.

Radeon Overlay not displaying all options

Ok, I got a question. The options to hide the overlay are confusing. What are the steps to turn on the overlay in-game? Not interested in logging much at the moment. Is Alt-R part of turning it on/off?
