Windows 10: Sign-in or Security Issue

I am unable to sign into my Microsoft account. When I try to log in, I receive an error message:"Signing in to this device requires a password on your account. Visit https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx to add a password to my account."However, when I follow the link and attempt to reset my password, I get another error:"Try another verification method. That verification method isn’t working right now. Please try another method."I do not have access to any other recovery methods, and I am unable to regain access to my account. Please help me recover my account as soon as possible.

Issue with Secure Sign-In and Chrome

You may try the below suggested steps.

1. Click on Start, type in cmd, right click and
   run as administrator.
   
2. Run the following command and check the status of the issue.
   
   powercfg /requestsoverride PROCESS chrome.exe
   

powercfg /requestsoverride

Hi,

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
