Sing in screen is asking for a challenge phrase. I don't have one. I just changed my password and need to get back to the screen that allows me to enter it. How do I get rid of this "challenge phrase" screen?

Windows 11 Sign Issues with Challenge Phrase

Hello,

I am stuck in an endless loop, with the challenge phrase and pin. If i start up my laptop it asks for a challenge phrase i enter it and then enter my pincode never changed it and it worked before. Now it says "This sign in option is disabled" it is my only way to sign in on my laptop. How do i fix it?

Just to verify, can you tell us the build version of your Windows operating system? In the mean time, what we can suggest is to disable the log-in screen and re-enable it again. To do this, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R to launch the
  Run command.
• Type netplwiz and press Enter.
• On the User Accounts window, select your username and uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
  
• Click Apply.
• Type your Password twice and click OK.
• Restart your PC and redo the steps in reverse to enable the sign in with password again.
• Restart your PC again and see if the challenge phrase would still occur.

How can I change/disable challenge phrase?

After entering the wrong code to sign in several times, I got asked to enter my challenge phrase. I had forgotten it and was forced to factory reset my laptop. However I was not asked to enter a new challenge phrase when I set up the laptop and I worry that it's the old challenge phrase which I have forgotten. How do I change the challenge phrase? Or how do I disable it entirely?
