Windows 10: Sign-in Screen on an Endless Loop

Hi there. I have been having an issue trying to sign into my Microsoft account on my Lenovo IdeaPad gaming laptop.The computer requires me to be signed into my Microsoft account in order to use it. When I turn it on, it asks me to sign in with my Microsoft password, after which the laptop suggests I make a PIN to make signing in easier. There is no immediate option to skip. Instead, I have to 'create pin'. A couple of seconds later, it is unable to make a pin so I have the option to 'retry' or 'skip for now'. I have kept retrying and got nowhere from that. • Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
• What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

User Account settings screen, in endless loop


I am trying to fix a friends computer that was upgraded to win10 automatically (not sure from what os before). It's an HP laptop and a mess, fixed most issues but can't figure this one.

Start menu... settings... user accounts

On this screen it should show the account settings but it is in an endless loop, the progress bar on the top with the moving circles keeps going and going, for over an hour now sitting on this screen. The screen is blank. It's the "Your Email and Accounts" tab. First in the list.

Is there a known fix for this? Thank you for any help

 

Signing Out in endless loop, Windows 10

I upgraded my Toshiba Satellite i5 from Win 7 Pro to Windows 10 this morning. other than having to uninstall a couple of minor apps and the slowness in coming from a black screen to desktop, it went on without a glitch.

Then the trouble started. Cortana does not work. it shows the small window, but does not accept input. There is no Start menu. I searched for solutions online, one of which was a suggestion to restart the Windows Explorer. It did not help. I decided
to reboot and try another suggestion. Sign out first out of the Ctrl Alt Del, then request a reboot. (This is the second attempt, the first reboot worked.) Windows is stuck on a blue screen with a flashing dotted circle, sign saying Signing Out, the mouse
pointer which responds to movement, and no responses to any key combination. I power it off, then power it back on after a minute or two and the same blues screen appears. Endless loop.

I contacted Microsoft Answer Desk, no help.
