Windows 10: Sign into my PC and then windows stops working.

Once I sign into my PC and put in my password I am brought into my desktop area, but none of my programs are automatically launching. I click on my taskbar and notice its doing the circle cursor showing its not responding, and by clicking it makes it crash for a moment and come back. Sometimes that fixes my issue but sometimes it doesn't work and I need to restart my PC countless times till it does work. What could possibly be causing this? I already used a windows USB stick and installed windows again and it hasn't seem to fix it at all. Im so lost!Edit - I am all up to date as well on updat

My hello sign in stopped working.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

step 1: End Task the Windows Explorer.

• Open task manager (CRTL+SHIFT+ESC)
• Right-click on windows explorer
• End task (Note: don’t close Task manager)
• Click on File > Run new task
• Type explorer.exe and press enter

Step 2:If Start menu is not working then I suggest you to check for the latest updates.

1. Press Windows logo key +R, enter
MS-settings: and then press
OK. This opens Settings.

2. In Settings, go to
Update & security >
Windows Update, and then select
Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.



Step 3: Some problems can be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in. Press Ctrl + Alt+ Delete and select
Sign out. Once you’ve signed out, sign back in to your account.

PIN sign-in stopped working

I do not know what I did, but my PIN sign-in option stopped working. I have Windows 10 Home, Version 1709 with latest updates. I tried resolving it in M.C. FAQ, to no avail. At first I was getting one of 2 error messages which were listed in M.C. FAQ,
but the suggested fixes did not work. One said to go to "sign-in options" in Settings and click on the "Remove" box under PIN. Yet my box says "Add". When I click on "Add", after a short time, a block showing: Windows Security - We couldn't sign you in
- my name & e-mail - The request is not supported(in red) - "OK" box. I ran sfc /scannow as administrator, and it said all is good. Also, at the top of this same page, under "Require sign-in", is: "Authentication is required when this PC wakes from sleep.
To change this, go to Settings and search for Power & sleep."(in red). The next line reads: "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?" Below this, the option box with, "When PC wakes up from sleep", is grayed out, i.e., unable
to click on it. I went to Power & Sleep in Settings, but could find nothing there that would help. Suggestions? Please.
