Windows 10: Signed into a work or school popup, and now I can't log on to my PC.

I have an HP laptop. Yesterday at work a popup showed up that asked me to register my device as a work or school laptop. I accidentally clicked yes, because I was in the middle of working. The email that autofilled in the popup window was my school email.The next time I tried to open and login to my PC, it won't let me. There's a completely different password, and all passwords that I have written down for my microsoft accounts don't work. I can't switch to another account from the login screen either. And when I try to reset my password, it tells me that the answers to my security questions a

Can't sign in Win 10 with work or school account

Hello Gavin. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

Keep in mind that if you add a work or school account it will take over your PC with the organizations' Group Policy just as if it was a work or school computer. The only way to avoid this is to have those accounts on another PC, or to shrink C or install another hard drive to Dual Boot WIndows between a Personal install and a Work/School install.

If you have any problems contact your work or School IT help desk, they are the only ones who can explain their Group Policy, although they will never change it for you since it applies across all of their organization's PC's. They may be able to help you with it intruding into your personal account, but this usually has mixed results.

Help with computer from old school and why I can’t sign in with any other accounts besides that schools one

Hello I have recently moved schools and the original school I went to put a heap of safety settings and didnt remove them when I left I have contacted this school and asked them how to fix the issue but what the suggested didn’t help They have made it so that my computer only can be signed into with a work or school account and I was wondering how to fix that? I have done the factory reset multiple times and the computer won’t even let me sign in with a different work of school account.
