Windows 10: Signed PDF agreements being saved as notepad logs?

Instead of saving my PDF's as PDF's it changes it to notepad with the .log ending. I'm hitting print to PDF in settings when I go to save them on my computer and no matter what, these agreements are always converted to notepad.

Regarding your PDF documents, the location will be based on where you saved the files. For your second inquiry, your documents can be converted to a PDF. If the original file is from Office Word, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

  In Word, select File > Save As.

  Select where you want to save the file.
  
• 
  Type a new File name if you want.
  
• 
  For Save as type, select PDF.
  
• 
  For Optimize for, select an option: Standard or
  Minimum Size.
  
• 
  Select Open File After Publishing, if you want to open the file after you save it as a PDF. This is selected by default.

  Select Save.

Notepad in pdf

Hi Toni,

In Notepad, choose File - Print

Choose Microsoft Print to PDF

Instead of printing the file, you will be asked where to save the file and a PDF will be produced

Access to Notepad denied after EVERY log in to Win 10.

I also tried to find the notepad icon (as suggested by another source) in C;\Windows\Systems32 but could not get it to accept notepad.exe
