    Significant loss of CPU/gaming performance Windows 10 22H2


    I've just wasted several days trying to figure out why my potato laptop has been suffering significant gaming performance drops. Where previously I was getting around 55-60fps I was now only getting 30-45fps in Forza Horizon 5.I wasn't able to unwind the Windows 10 22H2 feature update as it was more than ten days....I tried the advance boot restore options but they failed. I also had no old restore points my fail - I've created one now!So I had to factory reset and rebuild my laptop just to resolve these massive performance issues. I have also added a registry fix to block the 22H2 update

    CPU utilization capped at 15% after upgrading windows 10 to 11 (22H2) causing significant performance drop

    I recently upgraded my Lap from windows 10 to 11 (22H2), now my CPU utilization is capped at 15% even under heavy work load causing significant performance drop, what might be the problem?

    My Laptop is IdeaPad 5 pro with Ryzen 5800H processor.

    Significant CPU, GPU and RAM lag spikes

    My computer is having significant lag spikes. How do I make my computer's CPU, GPU and RAM go down? Any tips or suggestions? Also I use this computer for gaming.

    100% gpu usage!
    6.5gb ram usage!
    65% cpu usage!
    Disk does fine, though.

    Still experiencing poor gaming performance after Windows 11 22H2 update

    You can actually just use rufus format tool to make a pre-22h2 Windows 11 bootable usb and go back in time. It has a download choice in it with the list of choices to make it easy. I just used it recently although for 22h2 which I'm putting on all kinds of unsupported computers Significant loss of CPU/gaming performance Windows 10 22H2 :)

    If you're going to clean install then go pre-22h2 and you'll still get supported updates for a while.

    But, I'm not seeing any noticeable performance difference with 22h2 and Nvidia RTX 2060. Still playing games without noticing loss. So not everyone is affected. I would not put it in as poor at all. Its about the same as Windows 10. Currently using 546.27 driver released October 27, 2022 and I never install Geforce Experience.
