Windows 10: Signing into laptop

Hi, I have an account on a "family" laptop that I haven't accessed for 6+ months been using my new Mac instead.Now when I try to log in to my account on the family laptop , it says I needed to set up a PIN number to access my account but when I clicked on the button to do this, the screen says I can't set one up ?When I clicked the other button to "skip" this procedure, it sent me back to a screen that says " your computer is running low on resources , so no new users can sign in. Please use an account that has already been signed in. "Can someone help me get into my account please?

Hi,

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

Once you're able to sign in, you can change the sign-in options by following these steps:

  Under PIN, click Add.

  Enter your password or any other required information when prompted and click

  Enter at PIN number with at least 4 digits and click OK.
