Windows 10: Signing into Win 10: How do I get rid of the PIN option to sign in??

I'm trying to lose the PIN for windows 10. The Fingerprint system doesn't work most of the time and I want to use a password. But I cannot get rid of my pin, because every time I try like just a few minutes ago Win 10 give me this response and yes, I am connected to the internet ... I came here directly:"You have to connect to the internet before you can create a pin"And "Learn more" is useless as it doesn't give me any useful information about this problem.I've tried adding another fingerprint -- a couple, actually -- and still get a 75% failure rate that takes me to the PIN option. I

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

Disable Sign In PIN

Hi I'm Peter an independent advisor, if you want to disable Windows 10 PIN sign in option, you can do it in this way.

Step 1: Press Windows and R key on the keyboard and enter gpedit.msc on Run open box. Then, press Enter or click the OK button to access Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2: In this interface, access Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Systems > Logon > Turn on PIN sign-in.

Step 3: Double click Turn on PIN sign-in, and set this option to Disabled. Then click OK and Apply button. After that, the PIN sign in option is disabled.

On the sign in screen, I have my yubikey sign in option, as well as signing in with PIN...and I want that PIN option to go away...the only sign in option I want is a local account password (stored in my head and nowhere else) with 2fa (the yubikey). The
PIN option indicates that the PIN is stored in some microsoft repository somewhere not under my control...therefore, not secure.
