  1. Silicon Power A80 on Windows 11

I have a Silicon Power A80 1TB external hard drive but am unable to get my new laptop running Windows 11 Home to recognize it. I have tried the tools available from Silicon Power but they report back that the device is not found. I am using a USB 3.0 adaptor since the A80 has earlier USB connectors.Any ideas?

    :)

Silicon Power Announces Armor A80 USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive

One of the world’s leading flash manufacturers, Silicon Power today (5/31) announces a new addition to the ultra rugged Armor series lineup, the A80. The Armor A80 uses the royal blue color on its base frame that is commonly found in high performance sports cars; as for A80’s performance, its outstanding read/write speed is coupled with the latest USB 3.0 interface and is backwards compatible with USB2.0.
