    Silly Snipping Tool


    I've been trying to get rid of that stupid snipping tool since it first made it's presence known after some update last summer/fall. I rarely do print screens on my personal laptop but I do at work & I don't have the stupid snipping tool at work but for some reason I cannot get rid of it on my personal laptop. I have removed the "APP" but every time I hit CTRL - PRTSCR the stupid snipping tool pops up. I've tried deleting it from System32 & get a notice that file access is denied because I don't have TrustedInstaller permission. I am the only person on this machine & I am the admin

    Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

    In Win10 type Snip into the search box in your primary monitor toolbar. Snipping Tool will show up at the top of the list.
