Windows 10: Silverlight Security

Hi,

Fyi, currently we're still using Silverlight as plugin to access to our legacy system.
But, is it currently safe to use Silverlight since its will end of Support this Oct 2021?
Is it the Silverlight have vulnerabilities issue reported in 2020 or 2021?

I just want to get confirmation from Microsoft, is it the Silverlight is still safe to use and installed by our end user since, our Security team not allow end user to install the Silverlight and they said that's not safe to use Silverlight as the product has many critical vulnerabilities reported and Microsoft will will end of Support this Oct 2021.

I hope Microsoft can advise us on this since we're still using the legacy system and unable to access the system because of Silverlight has been blocked by our Security team.

Microsoft Silverlight enabled but not working

Thanks for the suggestion Charles. I implemented those steps and now Firefox is prompting me to install Silverlight even though it is already downloaded. IE still showing me Silverlight is enabled but it is still not playing any video.

Silverlight it out. Flash is getting integrated into all the browsers. Yay for reducing my fresh install program list.
