    HP SimplePass

HP SimplePass works wonderfully to log on to my laptop, but I want to be able to use it while on the web rather than having my passwords saved on each site. I choose to use Google Chrome and, for the first month or so when I got my laptop, SimplePass worked
on Chrome... then it just stopped. Is there any way to make it work again? If not, can SimplePass work on the new Microsoft Edge browser? Frankly, I just don't want to have to use Explorer...

Uninstalling HP SimplePass Fixed It For Me

+1 on uninstalling HP SimplePass. If you have an HP laptop with a fingerprint reader, I would bet that SimplePass is responsible for the disappearing password prompt on the login screen. The problem happened to me after installing the Creator update today. Thanks for posting the fix!
