  1. Since 2004 Update one of my network drives no longer connets

    As per title,

I was updated to 2004 this week and ever since I get an error saying that my Z drive is no longer accessible.

I could not un-map the drive as it is "not available" so had to use CMD to force remove it.

I was then able to remap the drive.

Next boot it was gone again.

My other network drive is fine.

No issues present before the 2012 update.

Network drive is accessible from other computers or via web browser with no issues.

Are there any work arounds for this? I have programs that rely on Hard-Links to this drive and force removing and remapping on every boot would not be ideal.

    Thanks,

    Dave

    :)

  2. USB Drive no longer recognized by Windows 10 since last update

    Hi Cathie,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

As per the description I understand that you are unable to backup Quicken files on the USB flash drive after the latest update.

Do let us know the following to understand the issue and assist you better:

    • Which was the latest update had been installed on your device?
    • Is the flash drive detected on your operating system?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps you have performed while trying to resolve this issue?
    • Is the flash drive being detected on any other device?

As a workaround, I suggest you to connect the flash drive to different USB ports and check if it is detected.

      options from the list.

    • Click Next to run the
      Hardware and Device
      Troubleshooter.

  3. 2004 update

after feature update, i lose ability to do further windows updates. windows update no longer listed in services. after replacing os image with previous 1907 image. update returns until retrying 2004 feature update. obviously a bug with 2004 that removes
windows update from services list immediately after installing feature update. until this issue is addressed, i will be stuck with 1907. obviously, since i have a 100% working 1907 disk image, i am open to trying anything without fear of corrupting my os,
    as i can ghost 1907 over 2004.
