Windows 10: Since 2004 update, PC freezes then reboots shortly after turning on

Since 2004 update, PC freezes then reboots shortly after turning on then generally runs fine for rest of day.


I've checked all drivers are up to date & run memory test on RAM & used Aida64 to stress test system including GPU so don't think hardware is at fault.


Not too sure what I should be looking for in Event viewer but seem to get plenty of instances of Event ID 107 "A pointer device has no information about the monitor it is attached to" and event ID 219 "The driver\driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device {C5A047D8-CB5B-40E9-B9E3-316AB06B5A18}\WirelessKeyboardFilter\9&25691e83&0&01" Don't know if either of these are relevant?


System is as follows:


Processor: Intel i7-5930K 6 Core, no Overclocking
Motherboard: EVGA X99 Micro 2
Memory: 64GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666 4 x 16GB sticks
Storage: Samsung 951 M2 SSD + 2 WD Blue 2TB
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX980Ti SC
Power Supply: Corsair RMi 750

Windows 10 freezes shortly after logging in

Thank you for the help. I went through all the suggestions you offered. None of the scans returned any errors. I also went through the steps on the page you linked to.

In addition, I also ran "mdsched.exe" and a disk check, which also returned no errors.

Unfortunately, the problem has not gone away. My computer freezes shortly after logging in.

Do you have any other suggestions for diagnostics I might be able to use?

 

reboot/freeze problem

my computer runs fine for about 20-30 minutes and then reboots/freezes(sometime it reboots, sometimes it freezes)
i have an evga 680i A1 board, 4x1gig xms2 dhx, q6600, 2x8800ultra's, 2x150gb raptors, pci-e wireless n card.

i have tried running the computer at stock speeds and voltages and have the same problem, so it's not an overclock issue.

it seems to be a software problem. but where do i start? the computer run @3.6ghz can run all night(9hours) orthos stable, but when im using it, it locks up every 20-30 minutes.

any suggestions?

 

all games crash!

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.
